You are invited: A free gathering for women walking the Path of Pregnancy and Birth

This offering is close to my heart...

Dear Kin,

I recently invited women to answer my questions about their experience around pregnancy and birth preparation, and the conversations I had were rich, honest, and deeply illuminating! I remembered aspects of my own journey though pregnancy and birth, and the journeys of the hundreds of women I have accompanied. There are so many threads that are similar, yet weave uniquely through journey. I love to listen to women as they become still, bring their awareness within, and share about what they are experiencing and how they are feeling as they move through the landscape of the childbearing year.

Now I've decided to open this up into something wider. I warmly invite you all to join me for a free group gathering:

Body, Birth and Beyond — Friday 24th April, 5–7pm UK time

What I am hearing from women

In the conversations I've had, a clear and tender thread has emerged: Many women are feeling isolated and confused — not because they lack wisdom, but because they are straddling two very different worlds.

On one hand, there is an innate, embodied trust in the intelligence of the female body and the natural physiological process of birth. On the other, there is a contemporary cultural narrative that casts doubt on that very trust — one that positions birth as unsafe, and expert opinion above a woman's own deep knowing.

Since I first received my calling to the birth path over three decades ago, a few hours after the birth of my firstborn, my vocation has been to bridge exactly this gap — to weave a living thread between the innate wisdom of the body and a cultural landscape that has, in so many ways, lost its trust in that wisdom and natural physiological process.

These recent conversations have given me even more courage and conviction: This work is needed, now more than ever!

Introducing: Body, Birth and Beyond

I am delighted to share that I am now offering a new four-week birth preparation and education programme for pregnant women, designed to guide you through this landscape, and to navigate the path, with knowledge, presence, and deep respect for your innate power.

On the free group call on the 24th, I will be sharing more about the programme and what it holds. But more than that, it is an invitation to gather and to share with each other in a nourishing, brave space.

Come, if you are currently pregnant or trying to conceive. Come, if you are longing to find the grounded, instinctual power of a woman who trusts her body, understands her choices, and steps into the threshold of birth feeling nurtured, informed, and deeply connected to her primal power.

I look forward to being in circle with you.
